    Basic Tournament Rules

  • 21+ Age Only (alcohol served; venue rule)
  • 30 Players
  • 1500pt set lists
  • Forgeworld OK, but no Fliers or Superheavies, Gargantuan Creatures or opponent's permission. No Apocalypse Datasheets.
  • Limit One Special Character per army
  • "Soft Scores" emphasized. "Soft Scores" including Painting, Sportsmanship and Army Composition. These criteria will be all be judged by Tournament Organizers as well as your opponents. DorkaMorka believes that all aspects of the hobby should be considered at our events. We believe in "Total 40K Immersion".
  • Judged Composition determines first match up, then Swiss pairs
  • The latest Games Workshop FAQ/Errata (Here) takes first precedence, the latest INAT FAQ (v5.0.1) and Appendix (v2.0) takes second precedent, and finally Rules Judge decision. The latest versions of all FAQs available on the day of tournament will be used
  • Separate Painting Competition will be held
  • "Dice Down" time rules enforced
  • Armies must be completely painted and based according to GT standards
  • WYSIWYG is expected

    Award Categories

Awards will be given in the following categories:
  • Best Overall
  • Best Sportsmanship (sportsmanship + comp)
  • Best Army (comp + painting)
  • Best Tactician (battle points + comp)
  • Dorka Choice (What we feel best represents the "total 40k immersion")

Registration is $20 per player. Registration includes lunch, snacks, and entries into all categories of painting competition.

    Event Registration
To register for the event, go to the registration page to submit your information for registration.

Registered participants receive Tournament Package including: missions, scoring sheets and INAT FAQ.

The Fraternal Order of the Eagles, Watertown are located at:
44-48 Mt. Auburn St.
Watertown, MA 02472

Parking is available both on Mt. Auburn St. and in the municipal parking lot near CVS behind the Eagles club. Try to park in the 12 hour meters ($.25/hour; not metered after 6pm).We'll be able to exchange bills for quarters.

Do NOT park in the Eagles parking lot directly behind the building; your vehicle may be towed.

The Eagles does have a bar downstairs with a limited selection of beer and liquor; no outside alcohol allowed. You are allowed to have drinks upstairs as long as you respect the terrain (i.e. - keep drinks off the tables).
